


United won their third EOAC title in as many years, recording another perfect 7-0 mark in league play. Once again, the league produced four playoff qualifiers, with the Eagles receiving the league's first playoff bye. The East Palestine Bulldogs were the only league member to secure a playoff victory.


The United Eagles won their second league crown in a row, this time undisputed as they went undefeated in conference play. Unfortunately, all four EOAC playoff qualifiers came up short in their first-round playoff games.


The United Eagles and Southern Indians shared the EOAC league title, with it being the 4th crown for both schools. Once again, the league would send 4 representatives to the postseason, with only the Eagles advancing with a playoff victory.


The Valley Christian Eagles won their first league championship in their third year of participating in the EOAC. The league would send four teams into the OHSAA post-season, with the Southern Indians advancing all the way to a regional championship final in the playoffs.


The United Eagles won the 2021 EOAC title, and three teams, including Southern, Valley Christian, and United, all qualified for the OHSAA playoffs. Both United and Valley Christian bowed out in the first round of the playoffs; however, Southern advanced to the second round before suffering a heartbreaking overtime loss to close the season.


The EOAC saw a three-way tie for the 2020 league championship with Leetonia, Southern, and United all sharing the title. Leetonia would go on to capture the first playoff victory in the history of the EOAC with a 32-16 victory over Buckeye Central.


The Southern Indians won the 2019 league title outright and qualified for the 2019 OHSAA playoffs.

In the second year of the EOAC, Columbiana, Southern, and United all shared the league title. Southern, however, was the only member of the league to qualify for the OHSAA playoffs.

The East Palestine Bulldogs captured the first EOAC championship with a perfect 7-0 record. Three members of the league qualified for the OHSAA playoffs, with Columbiana, East Palestine, and Lisbon all seeing post-season play.

The EOAC was formed when the 16 members of the Inter-Tri County league (ITCL) voted to disband in the spring of 2016. The seven northern members of the ITCL, plus Waterloo, formed the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference (MVAC), while the seven southern members of the ITCL, plus Toronto, formed the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference (EOAC).
Toronto would resign from the EOAC following two years of membership, citing financial/travel reasons. The league would only have seven members during the 2019-2020 school year.
In 2020, Valley Christian was approved as an eighth member of the league to begin athletic competition in the 2020-2021 school year. They started playing football in the league during the 2021 season.
On September 24th, 2025, the Leetonia School Board announced that they were leaving the EOAC to join the NAC at the end of the 2025-2026 school year. The EOAC will have 7 members when it enters the 2026 football season.
